Roofer in the New Forest

New Forest properties often present unique challenges — from tiled cottages to traditional forest dwellings, and from coastal properties to rural farmhouses. The protected landscape also means planning considerations that need careful navigation.

We always carry out a site survey before quoting, understanding that Forest properties need particular care and attention.

Roofing Services in the New Forest

We support New Forest homeowners with:

• Roof repairs — Careful work respecting traditional materials and character
• Pitched roof replacement — Understanding planning and material requirements
• Flat roof replacement — For extensions, outbuildings, and garages
• Leadwork — Traditional skills for period properties
• Cement work — Appropriate materials for exposed locations

New Forest Property Considerations

Working on Forest properties often involves:

• National Park planning requirements for visible changes
• Listed building consent for designated properties
• Matching traditional materials like plain tiles and slate
• Access challenges for rural and isolated properties
• Consideration of exposed, windswept locations
• Wildlife and ecological factors (nesting seasons, protected species)

We understand these requirements and will advise on any consents needed before work begins.

Areas We Cover

We work throughout the New Forest including Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood, Fordingbridge, and surrounding villages and hamlets.
